PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

proposal-axisrobotics.cyou is an impersonation phishing page whose name borrows Axis Robotics and wraps it in a "proposal" lure aimed at crypto users and wallet holders. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-07, one day after the domain was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site still responds, but its DNS is inactive, so it is not serving content right now and could be switched back on.

How the scam works

Lures of this kind arrive as a partnership offer, governance vote or token proposal that appears to come from the brand, and they push the reader to review it on a page that copies the brand's look. The page then asks the victim to sign in, connect a wallet or sign a transaction. That hands over login details or grants spending rights over wallet funds. When checked, the page title read "404 Not Found", which does not match the impersonation content we classified.

Evidence

Seven of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain by 2026-10-11: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but these vendors work independently of each other. The domain also appears on the MetaMask, ScamSniffer and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, which places it squarely in crypto-targeted phishing. Four AlienVault OTX pulses reference it, so other researchers are tracking it too.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-10-06 and was being used for phishing within a day, the quick turnaround typical of disposable lure domains. It sits behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server. A Let's Encrypt certificate gives it the padlock, which proves nothing about who runs the site.

What to do

If you connected a wallet or signed anything on this page, revoke token approvals from that wallet right away and move remaining assets to a fresh wallet whose seed phrase has never been typed into any site. If you entered a password, change it everywhere you reuse it and turn on app-based 2FA. Never re-enter a seed phrase to "verify" a proposal, and confirm any Axis Robotics offer through the company's official channels. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and search mail and chat logs for proposal-themed messages that point to it.
