PhishDestroy threat report
join-zoom-meeting-request.cyou is an impersonation phishing domain built to look like a Zoom meeting invitation. Fake meeting links are a common lure against crypto holders, who are invited to a supposed call and steered to a page that harvests access. PhishDestroy flagged it on 2026-09-07, the same day it was registered. The site has been offline since 2026-09-16, and on 2026-10-19 its DNS was still inactive.
Schemes of this kind arrive as a message asking the target to join an urgent or business call. The link leads to a page that copies Zoom branding and asks the victim to sign in, enter credentials, connect a wallet or install a fake meeting client or update. Depending on the step, the victim loses an account login or puts malware on their device that can empty wallets. When we last saw the server it returned only a bare directory listing titled "Index of /". Our classification as Zoom impersonation phishing rests on the domain itself and on independent blocklist verdicts.
Several independent sources agree. MetaMask and SEAL, both focused on crypto threats, list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, and Spamhaus DBL carries it under its phishing category. VirusTotal shows a modest 4 of 89 engines flagging it as of 2026-09-17: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it, so researchers outside our project have tracked it too.
The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-09-07 and was caught that same day. It stayed reachable for only about nine days, a short lifespan typical of throwaway lure domains. It was hosted in the United States on Namecheap's network at 66.29.148.186. The long, keyword-stuffed name on a cheap .cyou extension is built to look plausible in a chat message rather than to last.
If you entered a password on this page, change it at once, end active sessions and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you downloaded or ran anything it offered, treat that device as compromised. Move crypto funds to a new wallet created on a clean device, and do not reuse the old seed phrase. If you connected a wallet, revoke any token approvals you did not knowingly grant. Defenders should block the domain and IP, search mail and chat logs for links to it, and warn staff that genuine meeting invites never require installing software from an unfamiliar domain.

RAA §3.18 establishes abuse-contact and handling requirements. This report can document stored outbound notices and later technical observations; it does not by itself establish receipt, investigation, remediation, or contractual non-compliance.
launch1.spaceship.netLocation describes the IP network.
Saved certificate metadata. Certificate dates without a timezone are shown as stored. Transport encryption does not establish that the site is trustworthy.
An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
