How the scam works

They may also ask for ID documents, wallet details or remote access to the victim's device. No funds are ever returned, so the victim loses money a second time and often hands over personal data that can be used for later scams.
Evidence
On 2026-09-29, 7 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and SOCRadar. That is a low detection rate, so many browsers and filters may still let the page load without a warning.
