Overview

dexcunnect.online presents itself as "DEXCUNNECT - Multi Wallet Connect," a fake decentralized exchange aggregator designed to lure DeFi users into connecting their cryptocurrency wallets. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16 and classifies it as a crypto wallet drainer. As of 2026-10-18 the site remains alive at the network level, though its content is DNS-inactive, meaning the drainer payload may be temporarily unreachable or rotating infrastructure.

How the scam works

Sites like this impersonate legitimate multi-wallet connection interfaces to trick users into authorizing wallet permissions. Once a visitor connects their wallet through the fake portal, the drainer silently requests broad token approvals or signs malicious transactions that transfer assets directly to attacker-controlled addresses. The victim typically sees nothing alarming on screen while the drainer empties tokens and NFTs in seconds. The "Multi Wallet Connect" branding is designed to appear as a neutral aggregator, broadening the pool of targeted wallets beyond any single provider.
