It targets anyone who lands on it through a link, ad or message and trusts that verification screen. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-10. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still alive and its content reachable through a redirect, so the threat is active.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow the look and wording of a trusted service so the visitor does not question what is asked of them. A Security Verification screen fits this pattern well: people are used to clicking through such checks, so they follow instructions, enter credentials or approve actions without the caution they would apply elsewhere. The redirect means the visible address can hand the visitor to another page in the chain, where the actual capture of logins, personal details or one-time codes happens. What the victim loses is account access and whatever that account protects.

On 2026-09-20, 8 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar.
