PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

blackoutlane.shop is an impersonation phishing page imitating a home improvement store selling Protective Guard Total Blackout Blinds. It targets consumers looking for window coverings online. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-17. The site remains active and serving live content as of 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Visitors are lured via ads or search results to a fake storefront titled Protective Guard | Total Blackout Blinds. The page collects shipping, billing, and payment details under the guise of processing an order. Input data is exfiltrated to the attacker. No physical goods are shipped; victims lose money and personal information.

Evidence

On 2026-10-19 VirusTotal flagged the domain with 12 detections out of 92 engines, including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, and LevelBlue. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and flagged the page as a fake shop. PhishDestroy’s blocklist and 4 OTX pulses also confirmed the threat.

Infrastructure
