PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

bjspjs.shop presents itself as "BJ's PJ's | Organic Cotton Pyjamas", a small boutique selling eco-friendly sleepwear. PhishDestroy classifies it as an e-commerce scam, a fake online shop aimed at people looking for organic cotton nightwear and gifts. We first saw it on 2026-10-16, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online with its shop content live.

How the scam works

Fake storefronts like this one copy the look of a genuine niche brand, with product photos, a calm organic-lifestyle tone and prices just low enough to feel like a find. The shopper adds pyjamas to the basket and pays at checkout. Afterwards the order never ships, a cheap substitute arrives instead, or the shop stops responding. The victim loses the money paid, plus any card details, address and email entered at checkout. Those details can later be reused for fraud or targeted phishing.

Evidence

urlscan.io rates the site malicious and specifically flags it as a fake shop, which is the strongest independent signal here. On VirusTotal only 3 of 92 engines flag it, namely alphaMountain.ai, Gridinsoft and Webroot. That count is low, so a clean result from most scanners should not be read as proof the shop is legitimate. The domain also appears in one AlienVault OTX threat pulse and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-03-25 through Spaceship, Inc., roughly seven months before PhishDestroy flagged it. That gave the shop time to look established before it came to our attention. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia (GE). Its free automated certificate means the padlock in the browser only confirms an encrypted connection, not an honest seller.

What to do

Do not place orders on bjspjs.shop. If you already paid by card, contact your bank or card issuer now, report the charge as fraud and ask for a chargeback. Request a replacement card if you typed in the full number. If you used PayPal or a similar service, open a dispute for an item not received before the deadline passes. Treat emails claiming to be order or shipping updates from this shop with suspicion. Change any password you reused when creating an account there. Security teams should block the domain and watch for lookalike pyjama or organic-clothing storefronts on the same hosting network.
