How the scam works
Fake shops like this one copy the look of a specialist retailer. They fill a catalogue with polished product photos of forged blades and leather sheaths, and often advertise steep discounts to push quick checkouts. Victims pay by card or another online method and then receive nothing, receive a cheap item that bears no resemblance to the listing, or get stalled with fake tracking numbers until the dispute window closes. Beyond the lost purchase, the checkout form hands the operators your name, address, phone number and card details, which can be reused or sold.
Evidence
On 2026-10-01, 12 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar and Gridinsoft. That is a meaningful spread of independent vendors for a site that has no malware payload and simply takes money. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference the domain, so other researchers have tracked it independently of PhishDestroy's own listing.

The site is hosted in Georgia on the Malakmadze Web LLC network, a long way from where a boutique knife maker's customers would expect it. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser shows only that the connection is encrypted, not that the seller is real.
