How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow the look, wording and branding of a service people already use, then insert themselves at the moment of trust: a login prompt, a wallet recovery form, a deposit or verification step. Victims usually arrive through ads, search results, direct messages or lookalike links, and nothing on screen tells them they have left the genuine site. Whatever is typed in, such as passwords, one-time codes or a seed phrase, goes straight to the operators. A copied account can be emptied, and a leaked seed phrase hands over the whole wallet.
Evidence
When VirusTotal scanned the domain on 2026-09-18, 15 of 89 security engines flagged it, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and CyRadar. That is a minority of engines, but the flags come from several independent vendors that reached the same verdict. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it too. Among the blocklists we checked, it is listed by PhishDestroy.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through NAMECHEAP INC on 2026-08-11 and was caught 30 days later. That gap is typical of a site set up for a short campaign rather than a real business. Traffic runs through Cloudflare's network, with the address placed in Canada, which hides the true origin server behind the proxy. The certificate from Google Trust Services (WE1) gives the page a normal-looking padlock, so the padlock says nothing about whether the site is honest.
What to do
If you typed a password or one-time code on inferbulbo.rest, change that password on the real service now, along with any other account that reuses it. Then reset two-factor authentication and review recent logins and activity. If you entered a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move the remaining funds to a newly created wallet right away. Do not send any further payments the site or its contacts request. Defenders should block the domain at DNS, proxy and email gateways, and search their logs for users who visited it after 2026-08-11.
