The page then asks them to sign in, enter recovery details or connect a wallet. Whatever they submit goes straight to the operators, who use it to take over accounts or move funds. The redirect means the domain may pass visitors to another page, so what a victim lands on can change over time.

Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-29: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it, which shows other researchers are tracking the same activity.

That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains, which are set up quickly and used before reputation systems catch up. It is hosted on Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in the US at 216.198.79.65. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a browser padlock, but the padlock only means the connection is encrypted, not that the site is legitimate.
What to do
