download.empirexits.online presents itself as a download portal for a "Mod Menu Free Fire Android", a cheat tool for the popular mobile battle royale game. It targets Android players, often younger users, who want free in-game advantages. PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page and first flagged it on 2026-10-04. The site was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Pages titled "Mod Menu Free Fire Android - Download" exploit the demand for cheats that the official game does not offer. Lures of this kind usually ask visitors to sign in with their game or social account to "unlock" the mod, which hands over credentials. They may also push an APK from outside the official store, or send visitors through survey and verification loops. Depending on the path, victims can lose their game account and purchased items, the linked email or social login, or control of their phone if they sideload a malicious app.
