The page title reads simply "Matrica," and the domain adds a "verify" prefix to look like an official verification step. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still alive and its content reachable.
How the scam works
Fake verification pages like this are usually reached through a link posted in a Discord server, a direct message or a fake announcement. The link tells members they must re-verify their wallet to keep access or claim a role. The victim is asked to connect a wallet and sign one or more prompts presented as routine verification. Those signatures can instead grant spending approvals or authorize transfers, letting the operator empty NFTs and tokens. Some versions also ask for a seed phrase, which hands over the entire wallet.
Evidence
Seven of 89 VirusTotal engines flag the domain as of 2026-09-13: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but the wallet-security lists carry more weight here. MetaMask and SEAL both block the domain alongside PhishDestroy, so many wallet users get a warning before connecting. Spamhaus lists it in its DBL as phishing. It also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

That short gap is typical of throwaway domains built for a single campaign. The site sits behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada, which masks the actual origin server. Its TLS certificate comes from Google Trust Services (WE1), so the browser padlock proves nothing about who runs the site.
What to do
If you connected a wallet here, open a token-approval checker for every chain you use. Revoke any permissions you don't recognize, and move remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything unusual. If you typed in a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and transfer everything out immediately. Real Matrica verification never needs your recovery phrase. Tell the community where you found the link so moderators can remove it and warn other members. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, report it to Cloudflare, and watch Discord channels for lookalike "verify" domains.
