Overview

uselessdrop.xyz presents itself as a “USELESS COIN Airdrop” page, claiming to distribute a new cryptocurrency. It targets users searching for free token giveaways and crypto airdrops. PhishDestroy first identified the domain on 2026-10-01. The site remains active as of 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Visitors are prompted to connect their wallet and click the claim button for the “USELESS COIN” airdrop. The page then steers the user into signing a malicious transaction that either drains approved tokens or surrenders control of the wallet. Users lose any assets transferred or approved after the connection.
