PhishDestroy threat report
uniparkpay.shop was an impersonation phishing site whose name suggests a parking-payment portal, aimed at people who believe they owe a fee and want to settle it quickly. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-04, one day after the domain was registered. The site went offline on 2026-09-11, and by 2026-10-19 its DNS no longer resolved.
Visitors were met with a page titled "Verify you are human", a CAPTCHA-style gate that makes the site look routine and trustworthy before the real content appears. The page title shows only a human-verification check, while the domain is classified as impersonation phishing. Schemes like this usually arrive by SMS or email warning of an unpaid parking charge or a penalty, then lead to a convincing payment form. Anyone who completes the form hands over card numbers, security codes, names and addresses, and sometimes the one-time codes the attackers need to authorise charges in real time.
On 2026-09-05, 12 of 90 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and LevelBlue. That is a moderate share, but these established vendors reached the same verdict independently within two days of registration. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers were tracking it. PhishDestroy lists it on our blocklist.
The domain was registered through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD. on 2026-09-03 and was already serving phishing content the next day. That tight sequence is typical of disposable infrastructure built for a short campaign. It was hosted at 43.157.40.45 in Germany and used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so victims saw a padlock even though the site was malicious. The whole operation lasted about a week before going dark.
If you entered card details on this site, call your bank now, block the card and dispute any charges you don't recognise. Watch for follow-up calls or texts posing as your bank or a parking authority. If you reused a password there, change it everywhere and turn on two-factor authentication. Treat any unexpected parking-fee message as suspect and check what you owe only through the official operator's site or app. Defenders should block the domain and its IP, search mail, SMS and proxy logs for earlier contact, and alert users to parking-payment lures.
