PhishDestroy threat report
thecoussserguy.club was a phishing site that greeted visitors with a page titled "Verify you are human", posing as the routine bot check people pass through dozens of times a week. PhishDestroy classified it as impersonation and first detected it on 2026-09-25. The site is now dead. It has been offline since 2026-10-16, and its DNS was still inactive at the last check on 2026-10-19.
Fake human-verification screens work because visitors trust them and click through without thinking. Once a victim is past that familiar step, pages of this kind usually push them toward something harmful, such as following on-screen "verification" instructions, entering login details, or allowing actions in the browser. What the victim loses depends on which step they took, and can include account credentials, browser permissions or control of the device itself. The page title shows a generic human check, while our classification is brand impersonation phishing.
Google Safe Browsing labels the domain as social engineering, the category it uses for deceptive phishing pages. On VirusTotal, 21 of 92 engines flagged it as of 2026-10-07. The flagging vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. Four AlienVault OTX pulses also reference it, which means other researchers tracked it independently, and the domain is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-02 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., and PhishDestroy detected it 23 days later. That short gap is typical of disposable domains bought for a single campaign. Traffic was served through Cloudflare's network, with the address geolocated to Canada, so the real origin server stayed hidden behind the proxy. The unusual .club name, with its misspelled "coussserguy", suggests a throwaway domain rather than a typo of any known service.
If you landed on this page and followed any instructions it gave, such as pressing key combinations or pasting text into a command window, run a full malware scan and treat the device as possibly compromised. If you typed a password there, change it from a clean device and turn on two-factor authentication for that account. Also change the password on any other account that reused it. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and search logs for lookups between 2026-09-02 and 2026-10-16 to find users who visited it.

Google PageSpeed Insights — mobile performance audit of thecoussserguy.club · checked Sep 25, 2026
An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
