PhishDestroy threat report
quantumncap.org is an impersonation phishing site. It presents itself as a trusted crypto or financial service so that visitors hand over account access, personal details or money. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-03. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive, with its content reachable but placed behind access protection. The page currently returns the title "403 Forbidden", while PhishDestroy classifies the domain as impersonation phishing.
Impersonation sites copy the name, look and wording of a real platform closely enough that a hurried visitor assumes they are in the right place. Typical lures are links in direct messages, search ads or social posts. The victim is then asked to log in, "verify" an account, submit identity documents or fund a balance. Whatever is typed goes straight to the operators. Stolen credentials let them take over the genuine account, and any deposit sent to the fake site is lost.
On 2026-10-15, five of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as malicious: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and desenmascara.me. That count is modest, but the five come from separate vendors with different detection methods, and they agree with our own classification. The domain also appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers have tied it to malicious activity. Among blocklists, only PhishDestroy currently lists it, so many browsers and filters may not warn users yet.
The domain was registered through Name.com, Inc. on 2026-09-04, just 29 days before we detected it. That short gap is typical of domains set up specifically for a campaign. It resolves to 23.153.104.17 on the Aquiryn LLC network in the United States. The site was still online more than two weeks after detection, so it remains a live risk.
If you entered a password on quantumncap.org, change it right away on the real service and on any other site where you reused it. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication and sign out of all active sessions. If you sent money or uploaded ID documents, contact the genuine platform's support and your bank or payment provider, and watch for follow-up "recovery" offers, which are a common second scam. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at DNS, proxy and email gateways, and search logs for users who visited it. Reporting it to your security vendors helps raise its detection rate beyond the current five engines.
