PhishDestroy threat report
musicoop.cl is a Chilean domain that PhishDestroy classifies as an impersonation phishing page posing as ConstructConnect, the construction project-leads and bidding platform. Its likely targets are contractors, estimators and suppliers who use ConstructConnect accounts. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-05. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and answering with a redirect.
Lures of this kind usually reach victims as emails about a new bid invitation, a project document or an account notice. The link leads to a page dressed up as a ConstructConnect sign-in, and the username and password typed there go to the operators. With those credentials they can take over the account, read private project and bid data, or send convincing follow-up phishing to the victim's business contacts. The page title currently reads "406 Not Acceptable", a server error, while our classification is based on the ConstructConnect impersonation detected on the site.
Independent scanners back the classification. VirusTotal had 12 of 89 engines flagging the domain on 2026-09-13, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar and Gridinsoft. Several of these are major security vendors, so this is more than a single outlier result. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and recognised the ConstructConnect brand on the page. The domain also appears in 5 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through NIC Chile on 2008-02-29, more than 18 years before PhishDestroy detected the phishing. Phishing on a domain that old often points to an established website that has been compromised rather than a throwaway registration. It is hosted in Chile on AS52368 (ZAM LTDA.). The Let's Encrypt certificate means visitors see a normal padlock, which says nothing about whether the page is legitimate.
If you entered ConstructConnect credentials on this site, change that password right away and change it anywhere else you reused it. Turn on two-factor authentication, and check your account for unfamiliar sessions, changed email or contact details, and messages or bid activity you did not make. Warn colleagues and partners who may receive phishing sent in your name. Defenders should block the domain at the email and web gateway, search mail logs for messages linking to it, and reset credentials for any users who clicked. Site owners on shared hosting should check their own installations for similar injected pages.
