PhishDestroy threat report
magic-wallets.shop is a phishing site built to look like the login page of a wallet service called MagicWallet. Its page title is "MagicWallet — Sign In", and it targets crypto users who expect to log in to their wallet there. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-26. The site has been offline since 2026-09-08, and it was still dead, with no active DNS, when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Victims arrive through a link in an ad, a direct message or a fake support reply and land on what looks like a MagicWallet sign-in form. Whatever they type is sent to the operators instead of the real service. That can be an email and password, a one-time code, or a recovery phrase requested as a "verification" step. With those details the attackers can take over the account or restore the wallet on their own device and empty it. Transfers made that way cannot be reversed.
Eight of 90 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-04: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Fortinet, G-Data, Kaspersky, PhishFort and SOCRadar. PhishFort specializes in crypto-brand phishing, so its verdict carries particular weight here. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as a phishing domain, and four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it. PhishDestroy also carries it on its own blocklist.
The domain was registered through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD. under a cheap .shop extension, and its plural, hyphenated name is designed to pass a quick glance. It was served through Cloudflare's network at an address that geolocates to Canada. That address reflects Cloudflare's edge, not where the operators actually host the site. The site had a valid certificate issued by WE1, so the browser padlock gave visitors no sign that anything was wrong.
If you entered a password or one-time code on this page, change the password on the genuine MagicWallet service right away, enable or reset two-factor authentication, and sign out all active sessions. If you typed a recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet and move any remaining funds to it immediately, then revoke token approvals granted from the old address. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and search mail and chat logs for links to it. They should also watch for lookalike domains reusing the "MagicWallet — Sign In" title.
