Overview

kukoinlogin.weebly.com is a credential phishing page posing as the KuCoin cryptocurrency exchange. It targets KuCoin users who might search for or click a login link. The subdomain misspells the brand as "kukoin" and adds "login" so it reads like an official sign-in page. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-26, and it was still online and reachable on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page carries the title "KuCoin | Crypto Exchange | Bitcoin Exchange | Bitcoin Trading | KuCoin", which copies the real exchange's branding so the browser tab looks legitimate. Pages like this present a fake KuCoin sign-in form and send whatever the visitor types to the operator: email, password, and often the one-time 2FA code and trading password. With those, attackers can log in to the real account quickly, change security settings and withdraw the balance. The victim loses account access and any funds held on the exchange.

Evidence

On 2026-09-30, 17 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the page. They include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Emsisoft, Gridinsoft and alphaMountain.ai, so the verdict comes from several unrelated vendors rather than a single source. urlscan.io independently rated it malicious and recognized KuCoin branding on the page. It is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The site is a free subdomain on Weebly's website builder. It is served from Weebly, Inc. network space in the US and uses a Let's Encrypt certificate issued through the platform. The 2006-03-29 registration date with Square, Inc. belongs to the Weebly platform domain itself, not to this operator. The phishing page simply rides on a long-established, trusted host. That free and quick setup is typical of disposable phishing pages, and it means the browser padlock says nothing about whether the content is genuine.

What to do

If you entered your KuCoin details here, open the official KuCoin app or type the address yourself, then change your password and trading password right away. Reset 2FA, sign out all other sessions, and check your withdrawal address list and API keys for anything you did not add. Change the password on any other account that used the same one. Contact KuCoin support if you see logins or withdrawals you don't recognize. Defenders should block the subdomain, flag mail and chat links pointing to it, and report it to Weebly for takedown.
