PhishDestroy threat report
kta.finance is an investment scam platform that presented itself as "Keeta," a one-stop global investment service. It targeted people looking to trade forex, commodities, stocks, indices, cryptocurrencies, gold and oil. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-08-28. The site has been offline since 2026-09-29, and its DNS was still inactive when last checked on 2026-10-19.
The page title promised a broad multi-asset trading platform. This kind of offer is typical of fake brokerages built to look legitimate and well-established. Schemes like this usually lead visitors to open an account and deposit funds, often in cryptocurrency. They then display fabricated profits to encourage larger deposits. When victims try to withdraw, they are blocked or asked for extra "fees" or "taxes," and the money they sent is lost. Personal and identity details submitted during sign-up can also be reused for follow-up fraud.
On 2026-09-12, 6 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That detection rate is modest, but other sources back it up. The domain appears on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, and Spamhaus DBL lists it as DBL_PHISH.
The domain was registered on 2026-04-27 through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD., about four months before PhishDestroy first detected it. It resolved to 188.114.96.3 on Cloudflare, Inc.'s network, geolocated to Canada. Cloudflare's proxy hides the actual origin server. The site's TLS certificate was issued by Let's Encrypt (YE2).
If you deposited money with kta.finance, stop all further payments, including any requested "release" or "verification" fees. Collect transaction IDs, receipts and chat logs, then report the loss to your bank or payment provider and to local police or your national fraud reporting service. If you shared ID documents or passwords, change those passwords and watch for identity theft and recovery-scam approaches promising to get your funds back. Security teams should block the domain and Spamhaus DBL-listed infrastructure, and check logs for past visits from their users.

Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
