PhishDestroy threat report
ippinvest.top is a credential phishing page that presents itself as a sign-in screen titled 'Login — LPP', and its domain name pairs that label with the word 'invest'. Its targets are people who expect to log in to an investment account. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-13, the same day the domain was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online, with its content served behind access protection.
The page copies a familiar login form so visitors type their email or username and password, believing they are reaching their LPP account. Whatever is entered goes straight to the operators, who can then sign in as the victim, change recovery details and drain any balance or personal data the account holds. Victims usually arrive through a link in a message, ad or chat. Because people reuse passwords, a single entry can expose other services too.
16 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain at the 2026-09-23 scan. They include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Ermes, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft, a spread of vendors that rules out a single false positive. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as a spam domain, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses. PhishDestroy carries it on its blocklist.
The domain went from registration to detection within the same day, 2026-09-13. A domain that is used the moment it exists is typical of disposable phishing setups. It was registered through Global Domain Group LLC and is hosted on the NEW DHAKA HARDWARE network in the United States. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
If you entered credentials on ippinvest.top, change that password now from the real service's official app or a bookmarked address. Change it anywhere else you reused it, turn on app-based two-factor authentication, and review recent logins, linked devices and withdrawal settings. If the account holds money, contact the genuine provider's support so they can freeze or monitor it. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and the web proxy, search mail and chat logs for links to it, and force password resets for any users who visited it.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.
