PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page and first flagged it on 2026-09-16. On 2026-10-19 the server was still responding, but the domain's DNS was no longer serving the page content.
How the scam works
Locker value and rank checkers are a common lure in gaming phishing. The page promises an instant appraisal of your cosmetics or competitive rank, then asks you to sign in with your Epic Games account so it can read your locker. Whatever you type goes to the operators. A hijacked account can be stripped of V-Bucks, used for purchases with saved payment methods, resold for its rare skins, or used to phish your friends.
Evidence
Seven of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain when it was checked on 2026-09-29: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, SOCRadar, Webroot and desenmascara.me. That is a modest number, but it comes from unrelated vendors that reached the same verdict on their own. Spamhaus lists the domain on its DBL as spam, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses alongside the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-07-20 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., about two months before PhishDestroy detected it. A cheap .top name with an invented brand that echoes Fortnite fits the short-lived pattern of these campaigns. The site is hosted on UFO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED's network in Great Britain. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the page a padlock icon, but that says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you signed in on this site, change your Epic Games password right away. Use a new password and change it anywhere else you reused it. Turn on Epic's two-factor authentication, sign out of all sessions, and review the console and platform accounts linked to your profile. Check your purchase and V-Bucks history, and report unauthorized activity to Epic Games support. Defenders should block the domain, warn gaming communities about "locker value" checkers that ask for a login, and treat any similar Fortnite-themed tool asking for account credentials as suspect.
