PhishDestroy threat report
extension-wellt-exodsu.zapier.app is an impersonation phishing page built on Zapier's hosted app platform. Its hostname is a garbled spelling of "Exodus wallet extension", which points it at people who use or are installing the Exodus crypto wallet. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-07. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online and its content was served behind access protection.
The page carries the generic title "Forms", which is the default look of a Zapier-built form, while we classify it as an impersonation phishing page. Pages like this present themselves as an Exodus extension setup, sync or recovery step. They ask the visitor to type in a wallet recovery phrase, private key or password. Anything submitted through the form goes straight to the operator, who can then import the wallet elsewhere and empty it. Because the attacker controls the keys at that point, nothing has to be approved on-chain, and the victim usually notices only when the balance is gone.
On 2026-09-17, 13 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the address as malicious. The flagging vendors include ChainPatrol, which focuses on crypto, alphaMountain.ai, Chong Lua Dao, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. Most engines still pass it as clean, so many browsers and filters may not block it. Among the blocklists we track, only PhishDestroy lists it so far.
The parent domain zapier.app belongs to the legitimate automation service. It was registered on 2022-09-20 through Name.com, Inc., so its age says nothing about how long this particular scam has been running. The page resolves to Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in the US and has a Let's Encrypt certificate. The padlock and the trusted Zapier name only show that the connection is encrypted. They do not mean the page is genuine, and they are exactly what makes this kind of hosted-form phishing convincing.
If you typed an Exodus recovery phrase or private key into this form, treat that wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet on a trusted device and move any remaining funds to it immediately. If you reused the same password anywhere else, change it there too. Only install Exodus from the vendor's official site or verified app stores, and never enter a recovery phrase into a web form. Security teams should block the hostname and report it to Zapier's abuse channel so the form is taken down.
