PhishDestroy threat report
beachwaverco.shop is a fake online shop posing as The Beachwaver Co., the hair-tool brand known for its rotating curling irons. Its page title borrows the brand's own marketing line, "Allure Best of Beauty Winner: Patented Rotating Curling Irons". The site targets shoppers searching for those styling tools. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-11, and it was still online with its storefront content live on 2026-10-19.
Shops like this copy a real brand's product photos, award claims and descriptions, then list the items at prices well below the genuine store to create urgency. The .shop domain and the familiar Beachwaver name make it look like an official outlet or a clearance sale. Victims pay by card or another payment method at checkout. The usual result is that nothing arrives, or a cheap knockoff ships instead. The buyer loses the money and also hands over a name, delivery address, phone number and payment details that can be reused for fraud or further phishing.
Nine of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-16. The flagging vendors include ESET, Fortinet, Netcraft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, CRDF, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and alphaMountain.ai. That is a modest count, but it comes from several independent security firms. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-20, close to five months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it may have been held in reserve or already trading quietly before it drew attention. The site is hosted in Georgia on the Malakmadze Web LLC network. Its free, automated Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a padlock in the browser, which shows only that the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the seller is legitimate.
If you ordered from this site, contact your bank or card issuer right away. Report the charge as fraud, request a chargeback, and ask for a replacement card if you entered card details. Watch your statements for unfamiliar charges. Be wary of follow-up emails, texts or calls about "delivery problems" or refunds, since they often aim to collect more data. If you created an account with a password you use elsewhere, change it on those other services. To get genuine Beachwaver products, buy only through the brand's known official store or authorized retailers. Defenders should block the domain at web filters and DNS and report it to payment processors and the brand's trademark team.

Google PageSpeed Insights — mobile performance audit of beachwaverco.shop · checked Oct 12, 2026
An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
