PhishDestroy threat report
axilcoffeehq.shop is a fake online shop that poses as Axil Coffee Roasters, the independent Melbourne roastery. Its page title, "Independent Coffee, Made in Melbourne | Axil Coffee Roasters", copies the real brand's identity to attract shoppers looking for beans, equipment or subscriptions. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-10-09. The site was still online and serving its storefront on 2026-10-19.
Shops like this borrow a trusted brand's name, product photos and copy, then attach a lookalike domain and often tempting discounts. Visitors place an order and pay by card or another payment method, but no coffee is shipped, or something worthless arrives instead. Victims lose the purchase amount. The card number, billing address and contact details entered at checkout also end up with the operators, who can reuse them for further fraud or resell them.
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. On VirusTotal, 7 of 92 engines flagged it as of 2026-10-13: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, G-Data, Gridinsoft and LevelBlue. That count is modest, so many browsers and security tools will not yet warn visitors. The domain appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-20, about 142 days before we detected it. That gap suggests it was registered in advance and set up before it was put to use. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, which has no obvious connection to a Melbourne coffee roaster. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a browser padlock, but that padlock only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about who runs the shop.
If you ordered from this site, contact your card issuer or payment provider right away to dispute the charge. Ask about a replacement card, since your card details went straight to the operators. Watch your statements for unfamiliar charges, and treat any follow-up emails about "delivery problems" or "refunds" as attempts to extract more money or data. If you created an account there with a password you use elsewhere, change it on those other services. Defenders should block the domain, add it to web filters, and report it to the real Axil Coffee Roasters and to payment processors so they can act on it.

Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
