On 24 July 2026, analysis identified app-asteredex.com as a high‑risk crypto drainer targeting BNB Chain users. The domain was registered on 29 September 2025 through NiceNIC International Group Co., Limited and is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure (ASN 13335, United States) resolving to IP 172.67.221.40. No TLS certificate is presented, leaving the site accessible only via HTTP, which is atypical for legitimate BNB services. The page title observed during the brief crawl reads “Complete Tasks, Earn Rewards,” consistent with the wallet/seed phishing narrative.

The site employs the Angel Drainer kit, a known payload used to harvest private keys and mnemonic seeds. Reputation checks show a Gridinsoft trust score of 0/100 and the domain appears on four security blocklists, including PhishDestroy, Polkadot, Enkrypt, and Codeesura. VirusTotal analysis recorded four detections out of ninety‑five scanners, confirming malicious content.
