How the scam works
Fake ad-buying platforms promise cheap or easy access to foreign ad inventory and then ask visitors to register, sign in, or fund an advertising balance. Schemes like this usually collect account credentials and contact details, then push the victim to top up the balance, often in crypto, and leave them with money that never turns into real ad delivery. When the victim tries to withdraw, the operators commonly invent extra "verification" or "unlock" fees.
