PhishDestroy identifies an active campaign targeting Solana developers via faucet.solsend-devnet.com. This domain masquerades as a legitimate Solana Devnet faucet to trick users into connecting cryptocurrency wallets and surrendering authentication cookies or signing malicious transactions. Upon connection, the site requests wallet linkage under the pretext of dispensing test-SOL; any approved connection can expose seed phrases or enable fund drains once the attacker switches from Devnet to Mainnet. This domain was flagged on July 1, 2024. It registered 1/95 detections on VirusTotal at time of analysis, was created on June 30, 2024 through NAMECHEAP INC, and currently resolves to 188.114.96.3 via Cloudflare IP space with a Google Trust Services SSL certificate. Its recent creation date and absence of blocklist coverage make it a low-dwell-time but high-impact threat vector. Attack infrastructure favors fast flux, leveraging Cloudflare’s edge to evade IP-based takedowns while preserving TLS coverage to appear legitimate.
