Overview

vkloe.com presents itself as 'IG Group pro', borrowing the name of the established online trading and brokerage group to look like a legitimate investment platform. It targets people who want to trade or invest, including crypto users. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-30. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content, so it remains a live risk.

How the scam works

Sites that impersonate a well-known broker usually rely on the brand's reputation to make a fake account dashboard look trustworthy. Victims are asked to register, often handing over identity details and login credentials, and then to fund an account. Balances on these platforms can appear to grow, but withdrawals are typically blocked behind invented 'fees', 'taxes' or verification deposits. The victim loses whatever they deposit, along with any personal and financial data they entered.

Evidence

The classification has independent support beyond PhishDestroy. MetaMask and SEAL, two crypto-focused security lists, also block the domain. At the 2026-10-06 VirusTotal check, 6 of 91 engines flagged it: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That count is modest, so many browsers and security tools may still let the page load without warning. One AlienVault OTX threat pulse also references the domain.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-24 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. and was caught only six days later. That short gap fits a freshly built site created for this campaign rather than an older domain that was later hijacked. It is hosted on Microsoft Corporation cloud infrastructure in Japan. Large cloud networks like this let short-lived scam sites run on reputable address space.

What to do

If you signed up on vkloe.com, change that password everywhere you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication. If you deposited money or crypto, stop sending funds, and do not pay any 'withdrawal fee' or 'unlock' charge, because it will not release your balance. Contact your bank or the exchange you sent funds from right away, keep your transaction records and screenshots, and report the fraud to your local authorities. To check an account with IG Group, contact the company only through channels you already know are genuine. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and watch for other lookalike names that use the IG Group brand.
