vastofondizia-it.fyi is an impersonation phishing domain. Its name, with an "-it" suffix on a .fyi address, is built to pass as an Italian-facing service. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-24. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still online and serving content.
How the scam works
Impersonation sites borrow the look and name of a trusted organisation so visitors believe they are on a genuine portal. Once trust is established, victims are pushed to enter login credentials or personal and payment details, or to send money for a supposed service, refund or investment. Those details and funds go straight to the operators. The live page currently carries the title "vastofondizia-it.fyi - contact with domain owner | Epik.com", a registrar contact page, while PhishDestroy classifies the domain as impersonation phishing.
Evidence
On 2026-10-03, 15 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The detections come from several independent vendors: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it as part of known malicious activity. It is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-03-16 through Epik LLC, about six months before PhishDestroy detected it. A gap that long suggests the name was registered ahead of time and held until it was needed, not set up and used straight away. It resolves to an address on Epik LLC's own network in the United States, so the registrar and the host are the same company. The site uses a free, automatically issued Let's Encrypt certificate, so its padlock says nothing about who runs it.
What to do
If you entered a username or password on this site, change it at once on the real service and anywhere else you reuse it, then turn on two-factor authentication. If you gave card or bank details or sent a payment, contact your bank or card issuer immediately to block the card and dispute the charge. Do not reply to follow-up messages from anyone offering to recover your money. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting address at DNS and the email gateway, and search mail logs for messages linking to it so they can find staff who may have been targeted.
