PhishDestroy threat report
us-trezrio-strt.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger. It targets people setting up or managing a Ledger hardware wallet. The page is titled "ledger.com/start | The Leading Platform" to pass as Ledger's official onboarding page. The subdomain itself misspells a different wallet brand, Trezor, while the content imitates Ledger, so the operator is likely fishing for owners of either device. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15, and it was still online and serving its content on 2026-10-19.
Victims usually reach pages like this through search ads, forum posts or direct messages promising help with device setup or a firmware update. A copy of Ledger's start page then walks the visitor through a fake setup flow. That flow typically asks for the 24-word recovery phrase or pushes a counterfaced companion app that does the same. Ledger never asks for a recovery phrase on any website. Anyone who types it in hands over full control of the wallet, and the attacker can empty every account derived from it without touching the physical device.
Twelve of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the site as of 2026-09-29. The vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Kaspersky and Lionic, a spread of independent vendors that confirms the detection. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognized Ledger branding on it. The site also appears on the MetaMask, SEAL and PhishFeed blocklists alongside PhishDestroy's own.
The site is a free Cloudflare Pages deployment created on 2026-09-07, eight days before PhishDestroy caught it. Sites like this cost nothing to launch and are easy to replace. It is served through Cloudflare's network from an address geolocated to Canada. Its certificate from Google Trust Services is the standard one for this platform, so the padlock says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
If you entered your recovery phrase here, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new device or reset your Ledger with a fresh phrase, then move any remaining funds to the new addresses immediately. If you downloaded software from the page, uninstall it, scan the computer, and get Ledger Live only from Ledger's official site. If you just browsed without entering anything, close the tab and bookmark the genuine site for future use. Defenders should block the full hostname, report it to Cloudflare's abuse team, and watch for sibling pages.dev subdomains using Ledger or Trezor lookalike names.
