PhishDestroy threat report
trustwalletlogin.netlify.app is a credential phishing page that poses as a Trust Wallet sign-in portal and targets Trust Wallet users. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-04. It went offline on 2026-09-05 and was still dead at the last check on 2026-10-19, with nothing served at its root. The current page title reads "Site not found", which reflects the takedown, while our classification is based on the phishing content the site carried before it went down.
The name itself is the lure: Trust Wallet is a self-custody wallet with no web login, so any page asking you to "log in" to it is fake. Pages like this copy the wallet's branding and ask the visitor to restore or verify their wallet by typing a 12- or 24-word recovery phrase, a private key or a password. Whatever is entered goes straight to the operator. A recovery phrase gives full control of every asset in the wallet, so a victim can lose everything at once, often within minutes.
Three of 90 VirusTotal engines flagged the address as of 2026-09-06: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai and Forcepoint ThreatSeeker. That count is low, which is typical for short-lived phishing on free hosting that disappears before most scanners pick it up. The crypto-focused blocklists carry more weight here, because the site is listed by MetaMask and SEAL as well as PhishDestroy.
The site was a free subdomain on Netlify's hosting platform, so no domain was registered and it cost the operator almost nothing to set up or abandon. It resolved to Amazon infrastructure in Germany. It used a valid DigiCert certificate provided through the platform. The padlock in the browser proved only that the connection was encrypted, not that the page was genuine. It was online for roughly a day after PhishDestroy spotted it, a short window typical of disposable lures.
If you typed your recovery phrase or private key into this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet with a fresh phrase on a trusted device and move any remaining funds to it immediately. If you reused a password from this page anywhere else, change it there and turn on two-factor authentication. Only open Trust Wallet through the official app, and never enter your phrase on any website. Defenders should block netlify.app subdomains that impersonate wallet brands and report new ones to the hosting platform for quick removal.
