PhishDestroy threat report
trezor-hardware-wallet.pages.dev is a phishing page impersonating Trezor, the hardware wallet maker. It is aimed at people who own a Trezor device or are shopping for one. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15. The site went offline on 2026-10-12 after the hosting provider blocked its content, and it was still dead when rechecked on 2026-10-19.
The page called itself "Trezor Hardware Wallet | Unhackable Crypto Security Since 2014". That borrows Trezor's real history and its security reputation to make visitors feel safe. Fake Trezor sites like this usually push a bogus "setup", "firmware update" or "wallet recovery" step that asks for the 12- or 24-word recovery seed, or they offer a tampered copy of the Trezor Suite app. A hardware wallet only protects funds while the seed stays offline. Anyone who types it into a website gives the attacker full control of every account behind it, and the funds can be swept within minutes.
Eleven of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-29. Those include BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai and CyRadar, a spread of major antivirus and web-filtering vendors that reached the same verdict on their own. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognised Trezor branding on it. The domain is also listed on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet users with those protections would have seen a warning.
The site was published on Cloudflare Pages on 2026-08-02, about six weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. Free static hosting on a shared platform domain lets an operator spin up a convincing brand lookalike without buying or registering anything. The page was served from Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada. It carried a valid Google Trust Services certificate, so the browser padlock appeared as normal and said nothing about whether the site was genuine.
If you entered your Trezor recovery seed on this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up the device with a brand-new seed and move all remaining funds to the new addresses immediately. If you downloaded software from the page, uninstall it, scan the computer, and get Trezor Suite only from Trezor's official channels. Trezor will never ask for your seed online, so any page that does is a scam. Defenders should block the domain, watch for other Trezor-themed pages on the same hosting platform, and report new lookalikes to PhishDestroy.
