trezarsuiteapp.wasmer.app is an impersonation phishing page posing as Trezor Suite, the companion app for Trezor hardware wallets. The subdomain swaps one letter in the brand name, turning "trezor" into "trezar", so a hurried reader will not notice. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-13. The site went offline on 2026-09-14 and was still dead with no content at its root when last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
The page called itself "Official Trezor Suite Desktop & Web App for Hardware Wallet", which is the exact phrase someone types when looking for the real download. Fake Trezor Suite pages usually work in one of two ways. Some ask visitors to "restore" or "verify" their wallet by typing in the 12- or 24-word recovery seed. Others offer a trojanized installer that later steals that seed. Whoever holds the seed can empty the hardware wallet from anywhere, so the device's protection no longer counts.
Evidence
On 2026-09-13, five of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the address: alphaMountain.ai, ESET, Fortinet, Kaspersky and PhishFort. The count is modest, but PhishFort focuses specifically on crypto phishing. urlscan.io gave a malicious verdict and identified Trezor as the brand being imitated. PhishDestroy lists the domain on its blocklist.
Infrastructure
The page ran as a subdomain of the Wasmer app-hosting platform. The 2018-10-16 registration date belongs to the shared wasmer.app domain, so it says nothing about when this page was created. Traffic was served from a Scaleway SAS address in France. The Let's Encrypt certificate gave it the browser padlock, which proves nothing about who runs a site. The site lasted about a day after detection before going dark, which fits a throwaway page set up on free hosting.
What to do
If you typed your Trezor recovery seed into this page, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up a new seed on your device and move your funds to it right away, before anything else. If you downloaded and ran software from it, uninstall it and scan the machine. Then get Trezor Suite only through Trezor's own official channels, and remember that Trezor never asks for your seed online. Defenders should block lookalike subdomains on shared app-hosting platforms that pair wallet brand names with words like "suite" or "app". Report any reappearance to the hosting platform.
