How the scam works
The page copies the polished language of a modern online bank so visitors trust it enough to sign in, open an account or verify their identity. Fake banking portals like this typically collect usernames, passwords, one-time codes, card details and identity documents. Some also push victims to deposit money into an "account" that does not exist. Anyone who engages risks account takeover, fraudulent transfers and identity theft, and any funds sent to the site are effectively gone.
Evidence
On 2026-10-07, 11 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CSIS Security Group and CyRadar. Those vendors range from consumer antivirus to enterprise web filtering, so the detections come from several independent sources. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist listing it so far, so many browsers and filters may still let it load without a warning.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2025-01-08 through TuringSign Inc. d/b/a Cosmotown, roughly twenty months before we detected it. That gap suggests it was either held in reserve or operated quietly for a long time. It is hosted on FranTech Solutions infrastructure in the United States. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the bank is real.
What to do
If you entered a password, PIN or one-time code on this site, change those credentials at any genuine bank or service where you reused them. Turn on two-factor authentication there as well. If you shared card or account details, call your real bank right away to block the card and dispute any transfers. If you uploaded ID documents, watch for identity fraud. Do not send further "verification" or deposit payments if the site or its contacts ask for them. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and the web proxy, search mail and proxy logs for users who visited it, and report it to the hosting provider and the registrar.
