How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow the look and promise of a known product to win a visitor's trust. Fake APK portals commonly lure users into installing an unvetted Android package, entering account logins, or following prompts that hand over credentials or wallet secrets. The page title is just the bare domain and does not reveal the lure, but its appearance on crypto-focused blocklists points to wallet users being among the targets. Victims risk losing account access, personal data, or funds, depending on what they install or type in.
Evidence
VirusTotal shows 6 of 91 engines flagging the domain as of 2026-09-29: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors are independent of each other. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy's own, which carries weight because those lists are built specifically to shield crypto users. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it, so other researchers have tracked it as well.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2023-12-16, almost three years before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests either an aged domain bought or repurposed for abuse, or a long-running operation that stayed under the radar. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, with the edge address geolocated to Canada, which hides the true origin server from visitors.
What to do
If you downloaded and installed an APK from this site, uninstall it, run a mobile security scan, and review the app permissions you granted. Change the password on any account you entered there, and on any other account that shares it, then turn on two-factor authentication. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase or private key into the site, consider that wallet compromised and move your funds to a fresh one immediately. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and watch for devices that contacted it.
