PhishDestroy threat report
suport-ledger-com.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page that copies Ledger's onboarding flow. It targets people setting up or troubleshooting a Ledger hardware wallet. Its tab reads "Ledger.com/start - Gatting Started", a misspelled copy of the real setup page title, much like the misspelled "suport" in the subdomain. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
Fake Ledger "getting started" pages work by catching users at the moment they expect to type sensitive information. A typical version claims the device needs syncing, verification or a firmware fix. It then asks for the 24-word recovery phrase, or steers the victim toward fake software that collects it. Anyone holding that phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty it, and no PIN or hardware protection stops them. Ledger never asks for a recovery phrase on a website, so any page that requests one is theft.
On 2026-09-29, 13 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and Kaspersky, a broad mix of independent security vendors rather than one outlier. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognized the Ledger branding on it. The domain also appears on the MetaMask, SEAL and PhishFeed blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet-integrated protections should already warn many users.
The subdomain was created on Cloudflare Pages on 2026-09-09, six days before PhishDestroy detected it, which is a typical short gap for a throwaway lure. It is served from Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure geolocated to Canada. The padlock comes from a Google Trust Services certificate issued automatically to Pages sites. HTTPS on this page says nothing about whether Ledger is behind it.
If you entered your recovery phrase here, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new device or reset your current one with a freshly generated phrase, then move any remaining funds to it immediately from a clean computer. If you only browsed the page and typed nothing, close it and use Ledger's official software and website from your own bookmark. Never type a recovery phrase into any site, form or chat, whoever claims to need it. Defenders should block the subdomain at DNS and proxy level, report it to Cloudflare's abuse team for takedown, and alert Ledger users that fake support and setup pages are circulating.
