PhishDestroy threat report
split-ledger.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger, the hardware wallet maker, under the page title "Split-Ledger". It targets Ledger owners and crypto holders who might trust a Ledger-branded utility. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and its content now redirects visitors elsewhere, so the link remains live and dangerous.
Ledger impersonation pages use the brand's look and name to present a fake tool, update or support flow. They then push the visitor either to type in the 24-word recovery phrase or to connect a wallet and sign transactions. A recovery phrase entered on such a page gives the operators full control of every account derived from it, and they can empty those accounts without touching the physical device. Signed approvals can let them move tokens directly. Ledger never asks for a recovery phrase on any website.
Three of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the address as of 2026-09-29: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and VIPRE. That count is low, which is typical for a fresh page on a shared developer platform, so a clean scan from most engines is not reassurance. The stronger signal comes from crypto-focused blocklists. Besides PhishDestroy, the domain is listed by MetaMask, whose wallet warns users before they interact with it, and by SEAL, the security alliance that tracks Web3 threats.
The page is a project on Cloudflare Pages, a free static-hosting service, created on 2026-09-03. That is twelve days before PhishDestroy detected it, a short gap consistent with a disposable phishing deployment. It resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. network space that geolocates to Canada. The Let's Encrypt certificate is the platform's automatic default, so the padlock shows only an encrypted connection and says nothing about legitimacy.
If you entered your recovery phrase on this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new Ledger seed on your device and move remaining funds to the new accounts immediately, before the operators do. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals granted around that time and move assets you cannot secure. Report the address to Cloudflare's abuse channel and add the domain to web and DNS filters. Security teams should also warn Ledger users that pages.dev subdomains carrying the brand name are not official.
