PhishDestroy threat report
send-usdt2.netlify.app is an impersonation phishing page posing as Trust Wallet under the page title "Transfer Trust Wallet". The subdomain name points to USDT, so the likely targets are Trust Wallet users who hold or are expecting stablecoins. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-12. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online, but its root page returned no content.
Pages like this copy the look of a wallet's send or transfer screen so the visitor believes they are completing a routine USDT payment or claiming incoming funds. At the critical step, the victim is pushed to enter their recovery phrase, import their wallet, or approve a transaction. Each of these hands control of the wallet to the operator. A leaked seed phrase lets the attacker empty every asset on that wallet across all chains, and a signed approval lets them pull tokens without asking again. Trust Wallet never asks for a recovery phrase on a website, so any page that does is a scam.
On 2026-09-21, 17 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the page. Vendors include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Emsisoft, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar and Ermes. That spread of independent security vendors points to a real phishing page rather than a single false positive. urlscan.io rated it malicious and recognised Trust Wallet branding on the page. ScamSniffer lists it alongside PhishDestroy.
The page runs on a free Netlify subdomain rather than a purchased domain. That makes it cheap to set up and easy to replace with a similar name, so the "2" suggests it may be one of a series. It resolves to Amazon infrastructure in Germany, which Netlify uses for delivery. The DigiCert certificate is Netlify's shared certificate, so the browser padlock says nothing about whether the page is legitimate.
If you typed your recovery phrase into this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet with a fresh phrase on a trusted device and move any remaining funds there right away. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals with a reputable approval checker, and check recent transaction history for transfers you did not make. Report the page to Netlify and Trust Wallet support. Security teams should block the subdomain and watch for similar Netlify names using transfer or USDT lures.
