PhishDestroy threat report
sdl.link is a short, link-shortener-style domain that PhishDestroy classifies as an impersonation phishing page, and its listings by MetaMask and SEAL place it squarely in the crypto wallet threat landscape. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-08. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive and serving a redirect, so a click on it can still forward visitors to whatever destination the operator chooses.
Impersonation pages borrow the look, name or flow of a trusted service so that a victim believes they are logging in, verifying an account or connecting a wallet somewhere legitimate. A neutral domain like this one works well as a first hop in that chain: it is pasted into chats, replies and direct messages, then redirects onward, which hides the final phishing page behind an innocent-looking link. The page title shows only the domain name, not a brand, while we classified the site as impersonation. Victims who follow such a chain typically lose account credentials, recovery phrases or, after signing a wallet request, the funds that request controls.
Six of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-08: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, URLQuery and VIPRE. That count is modest, so many antivirus products will not warn about it on their own. More telling are the blocklist entries: besides PhishDestroy, both MetaMask's phishing list and SEAL have listed it, which means wallet-focused defenders independently reached the same verdict. It also appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2024-03-14, roughly two and a half years before PhishDestroy caught it, so this is an aged domain rather than a throwaway registered the week of a campaign. It resolves to a Namecheap, Inc. address in the US. Its TLS certificate comes from Amazon RSA 2048 M01, so the browser padlock only confirms an encrypted connection, not that the site is safe.
If you opened an sdl.link link, do not enter anything on the page it forwards you to. If you typed a password there, change it on the real service and turn on app-based 2FA. If you entered a seed phrase, move your funds to a new wallet immediately. If you connected a wallet or signed a request, review and revoke any token approvals you do not recognize. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and flag messages containing it, since redirect domains are routinely spread through social and chat channels.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.

A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
