saque-instagram.com is an impersonation phishing page built around the Instagram brand. Its name pairs "saque", Portuguese for withdrawal or cash-out, with Instagram, which points at Portuguese-speaking users who are promised a payout tied to their account. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-06. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive and serving a redirect.
How the scam works
Schemes of this kind tell a victim they have earnings, a reward or a balance waiting on Instagram. To "withdraw" it, the victim must sign in or confirm their identity on a page that copies Instagram. Anything typed there, such as username, password, one-time codes or payment details, goes straight to the operators. They can then hijack the account, resell it or use it to scam the victim's followers. The page currently carries the title "Website Takedown Notice - Lovable Trust", which does not match the Instagram impersonation we classified.
Evidence
On 2026-10-06, 15 of 92 VirusTotal engines marked the domain as malicious. The vendors included Criminal IP, alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. Having that many unrelated vendors agree is a strong signal for a domain only weeks into active use. Phishunt lists it alongside PhishDestroy, and an AlienVault OTX threat pulse also references it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-07-18 through Name.com, Inc., about eleven weeks before PhishDestroy caught it. That gap is consistent with a domain registered in advance and switched on later. Traffic resolves to Cloudflare's network in the US, so the address shown belongs to the proxy rather than the operators' own server. The certificate from Google Trust Services only means the browser shows a padlock, which says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you entered your Instagram login on this site, change your password from the official app right away and turn on two-factor authentication. Then review the active sessions and the email and phone number linked to the account, and remove anything you do not recognize. If you reused that password anywhere else, change it there too. If you shared card or bank details for a so-called withdrawal fee, contact your bank. Warn your followers that messages sent from your account may be fake. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and the proxy, and search mail and chat logs for links containing "saque" combined with Instagram branding.
