PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

revpropl.shop poses as REVPRO PL, a Polish-language AI trading platform designed to attract Polish-speaking investors seeking to grow cryptocurrency holdings. It mimics the appearance of a legitimate exchange to build regional credibility. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-18, and as of 2026-10-19 the site is still live and serving active content.

How the scam works

Fake exchange platforms draw victims in with polished dashboards and promises of AI-driven returns, persuading them to deposit cryptocurrency or link payment methods to fund a trading account. Once funds arrive, withdrawals are blocked or met with fabricated fee demands — a secondary theft tactic. The Polish-language branding of REVPRO PL is crafted to feel locally established and trustworthy to a specific regional audience. Victims typically lose their entire deposit with no avenue for recovery.

Evidence

Fourteen of 91 engines on VirusTotal flagged this domain as malicious as of 2026-09-29, with detections from BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, and alphaMountain.ai — a broad spread across commercial and independent vendors that independently supports the classification. Five OTX threat-intelligence pulses add further corroboration. The domain is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-03-31 through NETIM and is hosted on the Snel.com B.V. network in the Netherlands. TLS is issued by ZeroSSL GmbH via its ECC DV SSL CA 2, a free domain-validated certificate that produces a padlock without verifying the operator's identity. This combination of a recently registered domain and low-cost infrastructure is consistent with short-lived fraud operations.
