How the scam works
The site deploys an Airdrop Scam kit, a well-documented method that presents visitors with a fake token giveaway and prompts them to connect their crypto wallet to claim a reward. Once the wallet is connected, the drainer silently requests broad token approvals or triggers malicious transactions that transfer the victim's assets to the attacker's address. The victim loses cryptocurrency and tokens without any obvious warning at the moment of signing.

Nine of 92 engines on VirusTotal flagged regulacoin.com as malicious as of 2026-10-16, with detections from alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, and Kaspersky. It is actively blocked by PhishDestroy, MetaMask, ScamSniffer, and SEAL, giving it broad coverage across both security vendors and wallet-native protection layers.

The domain was registered on 2026-10-06 through Namecheap Inc and is hosted on Cloudflare's network (AS13335) in the United States at IP 104.21.77.188. TLS is provided by Let's Encrypt under issuer YE2, a free certificate that requires no identity verification.
