How the scam works
Sites like this copy the look and name of a real gambling brand and pair it with a country-specific domain. The aim is to make visitors believe they have found an official local version of RainBet. Victims are typically asked to log in, register or make a deposit. Login details entered on the page can be used to take over real accounts, and any funds or crypto sent go straight to the operators with no way to get them back. The localized title and the year in the name help it look current and trustworthy to Hungarian visitors.
Evidence
On 2026-10-18, VirusTotal showed 14 of 92 engines flagging the domain. The vendors flagging it include ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. The domain also appears on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, and four AlienVault OTX pulses reference it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-15 through INWX GmbH, one month before PhishDestroy detected it. It resolves to 172.67.144.100 on Cloudflare's network (AS13335), registered in the US, which hides the real origin server. Its TLS certificate was issued by Let's Encrypt (YE2), so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
Do not log in, register or deposit on this site. If you entered a password, change it right away on the real RainBet service and anywhere else you reused it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you sent money or crypto, contact your bank or exchange immediately and keep transaction records for a report to the police.
