PhishDestroy threat report
projectsdapps.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page that presented itself as "DappsTools", posing as a utility hub for decentralized applications. It was aimed at crypto users who look for tools to connect, fix or sync their wallets with dapps. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-13. The site has been offline since 2026-09-20, and on 2026-10-19 its content was still blocked by the hosting provider.
Pages branded as "dapp tools" usually copy the look of a legitimate wallet-support portal. They offer buttons such as "rectify", "validate" or "claim" that lead to a fake wallet-connection prompt. The victim is then asked to type in a recovery phrase or private key, or to sign a transaction that hands control of their tokens to the operator. Anyone who enters a seed phrase loses the entire wallet, because whoever holds the phrase can move every asset from any device.
The classification rests on PhishDestroy's own analysis, and PhishDestroy is the only blocklist listing the domain. When VirusTotal scanned it on 2026-09-19, none of its 89 engines flagged it. That clean result reflects how fast short-lived phishing pages appear and disappear, not that the site was safe. The provider block on its content points the same way.
The Cloudflare Pages project was created on 2026-09-05, eight days before PhishDestroy detected it. It went dark roughly a week after detection, the short lifespan typical of throwaway phishing deployments. Hosting sits on Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure with a Canadian address. The free pages.dev subdomain came with a valid certificate automatically, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about whether the site was trustworthy.
If you typed a recovery phrase or private key into this page, treat that wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet on a trusted device and move any remaining funds to it immediately. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals with a reputable approval checker. Watch the address for unexpected transfers. Defenders should block the domain, monitor for new pages.dev projects using "dapps" or "DappsTools" naming, and report fresh copies to the hosting provider so they are taken down quickly.
