private-household-ledger.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page that uses the Ledger hardware wallet brand to target people who hold crypto on Ledger devices. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-16. When last checked on 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content. Its page title, 우리 가계부, is Korean for "our household ledger", which reads like a family budgeting app, while we classify the site as a Ledger impersonation.
How the scam works
Ledger impersonation pages copy the look of the real brand and invent an urgent reason to act, such as a firmware problem, a security check or a wallet sync. The goal is to get the visitor to type the 24-word recovery phrase into a web form or to connect a wallet and approve transactions. A recovery phrase entered on such a page gives the operators full control of every account derived from it. They can then empty the wallet from their own device, and no physical access to the victim's Ledger is required.
Evidence
Five of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-29: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and VIPRE. That is a low count, so most scanners will not stop a visitor. Wallet-focused defenses already cover it. MetaMask and SEAL list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, so MetaMask users should see a warning before the page loads.
Infrastructure
The site runs as a Cloudflare Pages project, created on 2026-09-08 and caught eight days later. Free hosting subdomains like this let an operator launch a page in minutes, discard it and start a new one. Traffic resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. network space located in Canada. The site shares that space with countless legitimate projects, so blocking by address is not practical.
What to do
If you typed your recovery phrase into this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a genuine Ledger with a newly generated phrase and move any remaining funds immediately. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke token approvals and permissions with a reputable approval checker. Watch the wallet for transfers you did not make. Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase online, and any page that does is a scam. Defenders should block this exact pages.dev hostname rather than the whole platform and report the project to Cloudflare's abuse team.
