Overview

portal.dwin.online presents itself as the "Most Popular Online Crypto Casino & Prediction Markets", targeting people who want to gamble or bet with cryptocurrency. PhishDestroy classifies it as a fraudulent gambling site and first detected it on 2026-08-22. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving its casino content, so it remains a live risk to anyone who lands on it.

How the scam works

The site runs on the Gambler Scam kit, a template that mimics a polished crypto casino with games, odds and betting markets. Schemes of this type ask visitors to fund an account with crypto, then show balances and winnings that exist only on the site's own dashboard. When a player tries to cash out, the withdrawal stalls behind new demands such as a "withdrawal fee", a tax, account verification or a minimum extra deposit. Every one of those payments goes to the operators, and the displayed winnings are never released, so the victim loses both the original deposits and anything paid to unlock them.

Evidence

On 2026-10-06, 4 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is low coverage, which means most browser and antivirus protections will not warn visitors before they deposit. Among blocklists, only PhishDestroy currently lists it. Four independent vendors reached the same conclusion, which supports the classification even though wider detection is lagging.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-04-03, roughly four and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the site was prepared well in advance rather than spun up and abandoned within days. It sits behind Cloudflare (AS13335, US), so the visible address belongs to Cloudflare's proxy network and not to the operators' actual server. The Let's Encrypt certificate only means the connection is encrypted. It does not show that the site is legitimate.

What to do

Do not deposit anything, and if you already have funds there, do not pay any fee, tax or "unlock" deposit to withdraw, because those requests are how the losses grow. Save transaction hashes, deposit addresses shown on the site, chat logs and screenshots, then report the theft to the exchange you sent funds from and to local police or a cybercrime unit. Treat any later message promising to recover your money as a likely second scam. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, add it to gambling and fraud filters, and report it to Cloudflare and Namecheap abuse teams to speed up takedown.
