PhishDestroy threat report
onn6.shop is a short, random-looking .shop domain that PhishDestroy added to its blocklist after first seeing it on 2026-09-06. No impersonated brand or page content has been tied to it, so it is listed as suspicious rather than as a specific scam type. The site went offline on 2026-09-15, and its DNS was still inactive at the last check on 2026-10-19.
Throwaway .shop names like this one are often used in crypto fraud as short-lived landing pages: fake stores, fake wallet prompts or payment pages that collect money or credentials and then disappear. Nothing ties onn6.shop to a particular scheme, so treat it as an untrusted site rather than a confirmed drainer or fake exchange. The main risk is that anything entered or paid there, such as card details, login credentials, seed phrases or crypto transfers, went to an unknown operator with no way of getting it back.
On 2026-09-17, four of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a low count, but these four vendors reached their verdicts independently. The domain also appears in one AlienVault OTX threat pulse, so at least one other researcher tracked it. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist listing it so far, and support is thin overall.
The domain was registered through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD. on 2025-09-26, almost a year before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the name was either bought in advance and held, or used quietly before it drew attention. It went dark nine days after detection, which fits a disposable domain abandoned once it was flagged.
If you paid money or a crypto transfer through onn6.shop, contact your bank or card issuer to dispute the charge, and keep any receipts, messages or transaction IDs. If you entered a password there, change it everywhere you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication. If you typed a seed phrase or private key into the site, move your funds to a new wallet right away, because that key must be treated as compromised. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and search their logs for past visits around 2026-09-06 to 2026-09-15. Because the registration is still active, keep it on watchlists in case it comes back online.
