PhishDestroy threat report
media-ledger.pages.dev is a phishing page impersonating Ledger, the hardware wallet maker, and it targets people who keep crypto on Ledger devices. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-08. The site went offline on 2026-09-16 and was still dead when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Ledger lookalike pages usually present a fake support, update or wallet-sync flow. That flow eventually asks for the 24-word recovery phrase or prompts the visitor to connect a wallet. Anyone who types the phrase hands over full control of every account derived from it, and the attacker can empty those accounts without ever touching the physical device. The page's last recorded title, "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", is Cloudflare's own phishing warning rather than Ledger branding, while our classification is Ledger impersonation.
Fourteen of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-17. They include established names such as BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft and alphaMountain.ai, so the verdict rests on several independent vendors, not one outlier. urlscan.io rated the page malicious, and its brand match on a generic Cloudflare page fits the warning interstitial. Wallet-focused blocklists from MetaMask and SEAL list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, which means many wallet users would have been warned before loading it.
The page sat on a free Cloudflare Pages subdomain rather than a registered domain. Pages like this cost nothing and can be spun up in minutes, which is why campaigns rotate through them. Traffic resolved to Cloudflare, Inc. network space geolocated to Canada. From first sighting to going offline took just eight days, a short lifespan typical of disposable phishing hosts.
If you entered your Ledger recovery phrase on this site, treat it as compromised. Set up a device with a brand-new phrase and move your funds immediately, starting with the most valuable assets. Ledger never asks for your 24 words through a website, email or support chat. If you connected a software wallet or signed anything, revoke token approvals with a reputable approval checker and watch for unexpected transactions. Defenders should block this exact subdomain rather than all of pages.dev, and should report fresh Ledger-themed subdomains to Cloudflare and to wallet blocklists so they can be listed quickly.
