master-list.uk is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself under the title "MediaDex". Its listing on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists places it squarely in the crypto space, aimed at wallet users who expect a legitimate service. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-04. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow a familiar name, here "MediaDex", so visitors arrive trusting what they see and act without checking the address. In crypto-focused schemes like this one, the page typically steers the visitor toward connecting a wallet, signing a transaction, or typing in a recovery phrase or login details. Whatever is entered or signed goes to the operators. Signatures can be used to move tokens, and a seed phrase hands over the entire wallet.
Evidence
Eight of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-07: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it spans several unrelated vendors, so these are separate verdicts rather than a single source repeated. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category. MetaMask and SEAL block it alongside PhishDestroy, which means many wallet users get a warning before the page loads. Four AlienVault OTX pulses reference it as well.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Cloudflare, Inc. on 2026-08-27, about five weeks before PhishDestroy flagged it. That gap suggests the operators set it up ahead of an active campaign. The site sits behind Cloudflare's network (AS13335) with a US-located address, which hides the real origin server. It uses a Google Trust Services certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
Do not connect a wallet or enter anything on master-list.uk. If you connected a wallet or signed anything there, review and revoke the token approvals you granted, and move any remaining funds to a fresh wallet. If you typed in a recovery phrase, treat that wallet as fully compromised. Create a new seed and transfer what you can right away. If you entered a password, change it everywhere you reused it and enable app-based 2FA. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and report it to Cloudflare for takedown, since the page remains live.
